Time to put those infographic skills to the test. You will need to create a minimum of 4 different infographics about your state. Students can choose to create infographics using Google Draw, Canva, Infogram or another tool of your choice. Your infographics should clearly display the information that you are trying to share with your audience. Think of the different types of infographics that we see on the back of our Scholastic News. The first one should show the population of your state in 1900, 1950, 1990, 2000, and 2015. This information can be found at the first link below.
The second link will lead you to wikipedia where you can find lots of information to create at least 3 other infographics. One should be a list of the ten largest cities in the state showing their population (be sure to list the year that the information you are using is from), the second should be a breakdown of ethnic makeup of your state and the third is your choice.
Be sure to create your own unique infographic using the information that you find. DO NOT COPY OR LINK TO ONE ALREADY CREATED ON THE WIKI PAGE OR OTHER SITE.
Students looking for a perfect score on this part of the rubric will come up with one or more additional infographic about their state.
